Case Studies · Powered by the Faria-Lequay Shift Pattern Index™

Three teams that were working well, and the composition each could not see from the inside.

The Three Cases

Different teams. Different risks. One analytical principle.

How to Read These Cases

The analytical unit is the team, not the individual.

Individual profiles establish each participant’s Primary and Secondary Shift Patterns. Team Shift Analysis then looks at how those patterns combine, concentrate, or disappear when people operate together. The result is not a judgment about whether a team is good or bad. It is a structured view of the response capabilities the team naturally carries, and the ones it may need to hold deliberately.

These cases illustrate observed team-composition dynamics. They are not intended to establish causal claims, population-level norms, or predictive outcomes. Client-identifying details have been generalized. Download all three cases as a PDF.

Reactive teams absorb change. Intentional teams move through it.

See what your team carries, and what it may need to hold deliberately.
